Briza - (1of1) 8 inches tall

Briza is made from a light coloured, sparse distressed mohair with a darker backing. He has boot button eyes, a waxed linen thread nose and a cotton thread smile and eyebrows on a needle sculpted face. His pawpads and feet are a soft green mini-bear cashmere material with cotton thread details. He wears a lovely hand-knitted white scarf with a black fleck.

Briza has been distressed to look like an older, well-loved bear.

He has gone to be loved by my special Australian sister, and fellow bear artist, Anna Offler. Thank you so much for visiting Anna, Lew and Emma, I can't wait to see you all again ! (hope you enjoyed the pantomime - I'm free !)

Briza is the smaller brother of Teazle, a bear who has gone to be loved by a very special bear artist called Daphne Blau, in the USA. In 2002, Daphne sent me a beautiful bear (Almond Joy), in exchange for Teazle and thereby hangs a very long tale........ In short, Almond Joy was created by Daphne and she became Teazle's girlfriend, she was then sent to me in Wales, but was lost in the post for a very long time ( we two bear artists were beside ourselves with worry ! ). Eventually, AJ was returned to Daphne, where she and Teazle rekindled their love !. AJ then came back over the sea to live with me. The couple still keep in touch by email !
